Solar Powered Garden Lights
Can I install 12v garden edge lighting in my front garden without breaking any laws?

The lights i'm referring to are basically the same brightness as that of solar-powered garden lights but they operate from a constant 12v electrical source. I have lined the outside of a flower-bed with these 12v lights and i wonder whether i am within my rights to do so?

They are situated on private property. Cars do pass the particular flower bed but as i stated, they emit a brightness that is equal to that of a fully charged, solar-powered equivalent.

Am i breaking any laws, considering they are on the front garden and not the rear? They do not shine into any other property and are only lit up from 18:00-0:00 on a timer.
